Imarisha Mabati Visit KNH

Imarisha Mabati Visit KNH During World Cancer Day.

World Cancer Day is one singular initiative under which the entire world unites in the fight against the global cancer epidemic.
On this year’s Cancer World Day; January 4, 2023, Imarisha Mabati visited KNH (Paediatric Oncology Ward 1E) through their corporate social responsibility initiative, where they interacted and played with children undergoing treatment.
A study recently published on this topic by Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Western Kenya concluded that there was less than 20% of children survive cancer.
The survival rates for most types of childhood cancer in Kenya are gradually rising to almost 30%. Speaking during the visit, a KNH attending oncology nurse said that due to advanced diagnosis and medical treatments.
Our business operations entail interacting with members of society who are direct consumers of our products and services. We, therefore, see this visit as a way of giving back to society and interacting with the children as a way of bringing hope and encouragement as they continue with treatment.
Noted Ms. Caroline, general manager at Imarisha Mabati Ltd.
We thank the team and staff of KNH Hospital for their continued dedication and work towards this fight. And also for opening up their doors to us and well-wishers who share, play, and interact with the children. Added Ms. Caroline.
