LOGISTICS MANAGER

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling, Loading and dispatching customer orders & vehicles to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
  • Relaying information such as planned dispatches or other messages to customer service and sales team in good time.
  • Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services, or equipment
  • Preparing daily work such as schedules.
  • Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all items ordered.
  • Being in charge of communications from the dispatch department to management and other departments.
  • Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records, and other information.

Logistics Officer Skills and requirements.

  • To work as a logistics officer, you are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business administration, Transportation; Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or in a related field.
  • It is important that applicants have an understanding of logistics operations and practices. They must also have extensive work experience in logistic or supply chain management tasks.
  • Ability to develop logistics plans, policies, and procedures, and provide technical and procedural advice in a broad range of logistics areas. It is also essential that logistics officers can efficiently and rapidly store and retrieve information using filing and tracking systems
  • To work as a logistics officer, applicants must have a thorough understanding of MS Office applications and logistics software necessary to conduct research and complete routine/moderately complex tasks.
  • They must be able to assess moderately complex information from multiple sources and draw logical conclusions.
  • Ability to establish and preserve productive partnerships with clients by gaining their trust and respect, as well as nurture an effective working relationship with the work team.
  • Applicants must be able to communicate with various stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, etc. It is also vital for composing and delivering responses to customers, attending to complex questions in a clear and concise manner, and reporting the status of assigned tasks.
  • Logistics officers must be able to plan, prioritize, and manage their own activities and office workflow even when working under tight deadlines.
  • It is essential that they have a customer focus attitude to regard those to whom services are provided as customers. Having a customer orientation helps to understand customer requirements, identify clients’ needs, match them to appropriate solutions, or suggest and implement solutions to customer issues.
  • Logistics officers must be willing and able to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.

SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE.

 Sales Executive Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients both online and offline.
  • Coordinating daily sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Preparing and submitting sales orders for documentation and production.
  • Contacting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about our products, service terms, prices, and availability.

Sales Representative Requirements:

  • Diploma in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
  • Experience in sales. Experience in a relative industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and work colleagues.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, which include but are not limited to digital marketing.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERN.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients in the company’s premises and answering the phone (or mails).
  • Follow-up of customer experience.
  • Providing an impeccable service to clients in order to retain them.
  • Answering questions, suggestions, and remarks from clients.
  • Receiving and dealing with customer claims.
  • Updating the sales team on order progress and dispatch plans and schedules.
  • Assisting the customer service team in the process of disseminating information across all departments.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by HOD.

Customer Service Intern Skills and requirements.

  • Diploma or degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
  • Previous Experience in customer service, sales, or logistics. Experience in a relative industry is a plus.
